Accolade for Long Term Care Advisers

The Wealth Care Partnership (TWCP) has scooped the Health Insurance Award for “The Best Long Term Care Intermediary” for the second year running at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 18thOctober. With over 900 people attending, the Health Insurance Awards are the premier awards for the UK health insurance and protection industry - recognising and rewarding excellence. The judges said Karen showed “tremendous client empathy” and “clearly enjoys her job because she knows it makes a difference”.

TWCP has won the award on three separate occasions having been shortlisted for the last five years.

Karen Rayner, a founding partner of TWCP was there to collect the award and said, “I am so pleased to receive this award on behalf of our amazing team of people, whose knowledge and understanding of the care system is second to none. This award recognises the very specialist area of financial advice and other guidance we give to people who are often in a crisis situation and it is very rewarding to be recognised for all we do.”

TWCP are based in Hampshire but cover the whole country with advice to older people and their families who self fund their lifelong care. They are one of Hampshire, West Sussex and Nottinghamshire County Council’s preferred advisers and are members of the County Council’s Buy with Confidence Scheme.

Karen concluded, “We are working hard to raise the awareness of the need to talk to independent specialist care fees advisers as soon in the care journey as possible. The system is unfair and complex and we can make absolutely sure the decision makers have all the key facts and information before they embark on paying care fees.”

“With this award, we can continue to help more people to achieve peace of mind, choice and dignity in old age.”
